April 28, 2016- "Martial Arts 'Clicks' for Teen with Autism"- Recently, Chase Wilcott, a 14-year-old with autism, received his high degree green belt after a display of kicks, punches, and self-defense moves in front of a crowd of 75 individuals. Before his training, being placed in such an anxiety-inducing social situation would have been unimaginable for Chase. However, martial arts has helped instill Chase with confidence, who after his award ceremony volunteered to be interviewed, a video of which is available within this article.
